MUSD Students Part of Arizona SciTech Festival

 

On Thursday, March 26th, Butterfield Elementary School, Desert Wind Middle School, and Maricopa Wells Middle School, in accordance with each school’s academic focus on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM), will be showcasing science related student work and projects for the public. The showcase will be held at the district office starting at 5:30 p.m. and closing at 7:00 p.m. in room 116. These displays will also be featured at the Maricopa SciTech Festival Science City that will be part of the Maricopa Salsa Festival at Copper Sky on March 28th, 2015 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.  The Arizona SciTech Festival is a state-wide celebration of science, technology, engineering and math  held annually in February and March.  Through a series of over 400 expos, workshops, exhibitions and tours throughout the state, the Arizona SciTech Festival excites and informs Arizonans from ages 3 to 103 about how STEM will drive our state for next 100 years.
