My name is Patricia Butler.  I was raised in Phoenix, graduated from ASU, moved to San Diego to teach.  I taught K, 1, 2, K-1, and K-2; mostly K for 22 years.  I took time off to raise 5 children and help raise a few grandchildren so I have been working with children for over 40 years.  My husband and I are kid-free for the first time in a long time.  We spent 10 years in Reno, NV and now have been back to AZ for almost two years.  I have been excited about teaching at the new MES at Alterra since May.  Now that I have had the opportunity to get to know the Kindergarten team, I know that this is going to be an excellent year for all of us!  I look forward to meeting many of you at the Park and all of you at school!
