Classroom  Web Page Creation - Web Pages for Starters
objective: introduction/reinforcement
Learners will be introduced to web page creation and publication as a communication link and tool to their students and parents after the school day ends.  This class uses Microsoft Publisher (on all teacher workstations) Blogs and web-based generators.  We will discuss the pro's and con's of each option.  
Outcome:  Participants will begin to develop their classroom web page during this session.  
Materials: None

        Audience:  Teachers who would like to create a classroom web page
                          Teachers using the software but have questions or would like some reinforcement

Easy Grade Pro
- Electronic Grade Book Basics
objective: introduction/reinforcement  
Organize and easily calculate your grades using this simple  program!  This class will address software installation, creation of a new grade book, managing students, classes and assignments, report creation, H drive management, grade scales and more!  
Outcome:  Participants will begin to create their grade book in this session.  
Materials:  Bring student class list(s).

        Audience:   Teachers new to Easy Grade Pro electronic grade book
                           Teachers using the software but have general questions 
                           Teachers using the software and would like some reinforcement
       
There will be a class held at Santa Cruz Elementary after Fall Break, in October - 
          check back for details as they are confirmed

ASSET -
AZ School Services through Educational Technology 
Learners will be introduced to this robust Professional Development and Curricular resource portal- AZ for educators.  This session will include United Streaming Video, On-Line Course Catalog, Handshake with IDEAL (ADE's Premier Educator Portal), ASSET @ Home and resources for student use in lab, classroom and home.  If you did not pre-register for this class through the Curriculum Department and would like to attend, email achayefsky@musd20.org for approval.
Outcome:  Participants will learn about a variety of resources  
Materials: None

        Audience:  Elementary teachers who pre-registered for this Early Release Professional Development session
