Greetings! This will be a great year. It is the beginning of your student transforming from a middle school student to a high school student. By the end of this year, your student should be able to independently work the five major Office Suite programs and search the Internet and on-line databases. This requires that each student work the problems for themselves; that they read instructions, follow the instructions, and make the product match the requirements of the rubric for the assignment. It requires that the student be much more self-motivated and independent. This is what will be expected in high school (and beyond) and this year is a good year to learn this skill. |
