Message from Principal- Ms. Allison

  • Dear Mustang Families,

It is an honor and privilege to be entering the new academic school year as principal of Pima Butte Elementary school. As incoming principal I am enthusiastic and deeply committed to continue on the historical success of Pima Butte Elementary school. As an established member of Pima Butte Elementary school, I recognize the unique needs and contributions that Pima Butte has to offer our staff, students and families. It is my goal to uphold and support these needs and contributions by promoting high academic and behavioral expectations, advancing a positive school culture, and by continuing to preserve and enrich the family and community partnerships.

I come to this position with over 10 years of experience in the educational field. I have held many positions within the school setting from preschool teacher, primary teacher (teaching kindergarten, second and third grade) to Assistant Principal within a K-8 setting.  Most recently I have served as the Teacher On Special Assignment (TOSA) between Pima Butte and Santa Rosa Elementary School. Throughout the closure and into the summer, I have taken advantage of the opportunity to work closely alongside Mr. Lazar to ensure a smooth transition. I am deeply committed to facilitating and leading our staff, students, parents and community to a successful 2020-2021 school year.

The staff here at Pima Butte work hard to offer every student a well-rounded education. Staff at Pima Butte hold students to high academic and behavioral expectations, teaching students the importance of good character and always giving your best. As principal, I value the input of staff, students, families and the community. In addition to Site Council and Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) meetings, I encourage you to reach out to me with any questions, concerns or ideas that you may want to discuss to address the successes and challenges that are in need of our attention.  Please feel free to contact me via email at eallison@musd20.org or by phone at 520-568-7150 to schedule a time to meet.

I look forward to a successful school year.
