Ms. June Shull
I have been with the Maricopa Unified School District for over 11 years, teaching 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 6th grades. Currently, I am the Academic Coach at Butterfield Elementary. In addition, I provide support and guidance to our teaching staff. Prior to working for the school district, I was a Program Coordinator for Student Services at the University of Arizona. Education is very important to me, and ensuring all students have access to a quality, free, public education is essential. I believe it is our duty as educators to properly prepare students for the future, while also meeting all their needs.
I hold a MEd in Elementary Education from Grand Canyon University and a MEd in Educational Leadership from Northern Arizona University. I completed my Bachelor degree from the University of Arizona, with a major in Psychology and a minor in English. I am currently attending Grand Canyon University for my PhD program in General Psychology. I am at the dissertation phase of the program, focusing on the classroom management strategies teachers utilize for students with ADHD.
I am an Arizona native, growing up in southern Arizona and graduating from Tombstone High School. My husband and I moved to Maricopa in 2008, and we love the community. We have seven children ranging in age from 11 to 29. We also have three granddaughters. I enjoy travelling, reading, and listening to music.
