    Summer is coming soon and you may be thinking about what your child will do for meals while school is out.  The good news is that the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) partners with organizations in your local community to serve free meals through the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP).  It’s food that’s in, while school is out!  There are no income requirements and any child age 18 and younger may come to eat.

    Here is the information about local School Food sites(s).

    First week is May 28 through May 31 (Tuesday through Friday) / all weeks after are Monday through Thursday


    Butterfield Elementary

    Breakfast 7:30 – 8:30 / Lunch  11:30 – 1:00 p.m.


    Maricopa Elementary

    Breakfast 7:30 – 8:30 / Lunch 11:30 – 1:00 p.m.


    Santa Rosa Elementary

    Breakfast 7:30 – 8:30 / Lunch 11:30 – 1:00 p.m.


    Maricopa High School

    Breakfast 7:30 – 8:30 / Lunch 11:30 – 1:00 p.m.


    School dining areas will be open for all children to come eat.  Get out of the heat and enjoy a healthy breakfast and lunch.  Adults are welcome, but required a $3.50 charge for lunch and $2.50 for breakfast.  All meals must be eaten on site.
