I am Dr. Marchelle Hasan, the principal of Saddleback Elementary School. I am pleased to welcome you to the 2022-2023 school year. I am so delighted that you are part of our amazing learning community. I welcome and value your positive energy and dedication to excellence in education, and I look forward to working with you and your children.
Saddleback is the place to be! We strive to challenge each student to grow in his or her academic abilities. We have great teachers who spend an ideal amount of time planning and creating classroom lessons and activities to engage students in learning using researched-based best practices. Data analysis is important to us well as this helps us determine goals for growth and improvement based on the current skill levels of students.
During the school year I encourage you to take an active role in your child’s learning. Parent involvement plays a critical role in our school’s success. Ways to support and increase your child’s academic success include:
One of the best parts of my job is building positive relationships with students, families, and staff. It is a priority for me to be in the hallways, classrooms, and playground getting to know your child. Student success is attributed to the partnership and relationships we build. It truly takes a village! My door is always open. Do not hesitate to call or email to schedule an appointment should you ever feel the need to do so.
