Amy McCall

Hello, I am Amy McCall, Mental Health Counselor at DSHS. I moved to Arizona in 2017 and have lived in Idaho, Ohio, Washington, and Oregon throughout my life and am an avid Ohio State alum and fan. I have been working in the mental health, behavioral health, and substance-abuse fields for over 25 years across an array of settings, including inpatient, outpatient, community and school settings. I have 2 Master's degrees in Psychology and currently hold certificates for Guidance Counselor, Substitute Teacher (K-12) and Adult Education. I have specialized training in suicide prevention, bullying prevention, trauma-informed care and recognize the importance of prevention and early intervention services to promote healthy development and life-long success for our youth.

 

In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, photography, and painting. I also enjoy spending time with my mom and son, who are amazing supporters of me. I am excited to be a part of the DSHS Counseling team and look forward to providing support to our students!
