Computer Maintenance

  • Program Description: 

    The Computer Maintenance instructional program prepares students to design, develop, install, implement, and manage computers, servers, and various other IT systems. Students who successfully complete the Computer Maintenance program's coherent sequence of instruction will develop effective methods for troubleshooting problems, managing various IT systems, creating IT documentation, and managing staff and customers. After completing Computer Maintenance 1, upperclassmen will be a part of 24PinTech, an IT support business, solely run by students. Using the methods described, students will be responsible for IT support for the MHS CTE department and most of the staff. Students will also use their skills to diagnose and repair IT devices and will offer their services free of charge.
