Child Nutrition Program
Feeding Bodies & Fueling Minds
We are glad you stopped by! We are passionate about serving your child healthy, tasty meals to prepare them to learn in the classroom. You can be confident when you child dines with us knowing our meals meet the high nutrition standards of the Healthy Hungry Free Kids Act. All students are encouraged to eat school meals to gain the nourishment they need for high performance in the classroom and beyond. Research shows that students who eat breakfast at school have higher attendance rates and higher levels of academic achievement than students who do not eat breakfast at school.
- Breakfast is served free of charge to all students K-12 every school day.
- Lunch cost is $2.75 K-5; $3.00 6-12.
Your child may qualify for free or reduced price meals. Lunch applications are available at any school cafeteria, school office and district office. There is also a link to access the application online. Foster students need to apply as well – call 520.568.5100 x 1034 for more information. It is strongly recommended to pay online and monitor your student’s My School Bucks account. The MUSD Child Nutrition Department looks forward to providing meals for your children.
