Santa Cruz Elementary School was built in 2007. We are located in the Tortosa Subdivision in the city of Maricopa. Maricopa is located 20 miles south of Phoenix, Arizona. We teach a very diverse population with approximately 850 students. We offer art, drama, music, dance, media art, physical education and library. We are a learning community where staff and students work together to set personal goals. Students set academic goals based on individual student achievement data. Students can also set health and nutrition goals with daily physical education.
