Ms. Favero has over 10 years' experience teaching art at Butterfield Elementary. Past experience includes teaching developmental needs preschool with the Maricopa Unified School District. Ms. Favero received her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education with an Early Childhood Endorsement and an Art Education Endorsement from Northern Arizona University. She continued her education at Northern Arizona University, receiving a master’s degree in Early Childhood Education. Ms. Favero has hosted various extracurricular clubs for many years, including drama club, and art club.

Ms. Favero believes that a large part of education and attracting students to lifelong learning are the hands-on experiences students receive in school. She believes the most important aspect to creating a solid base in education is that students have fun and want to come to school every day. When students enjoy their education, important life skills naturally fall into place such as building confidence, working with others, persistence, and higher-level critical thinking skills. Ms. Favero constantly strives to make her classroom a fun environment in which students work on building such skills.
