Principal of the Year & Middle School Educator of the Year

Big congratulations are in order for two extraordinary leaders in the Maricopa Unified School District! Dr. Jennifer Robinson, Principal of Maricopa Elementary, has been named Principal of the Year, and Louie John Oceja, Special Education Teacher from Desert Wind Middle School, has been honored as Middle School Educator of the Year. Both are recipients of the Save Our Schools Champion of Public Education Award for 2023. Their dedicated service and commitment to our students and their families enriches our entire educational community. We're proud to work alongside these exceptional educators!
