Portrait of a Graduate

A Portrait of a Graduate represents MUSD's vision for the 21st century skills, character traits, and/or social-emotional competencies that students need to succeed in college, career, and life. It is a community's vision of the essential skills or attributes that students will learn before they graduate. As a K-12 district, these attributes, once established and communicated district-wide, will help to define our learning environments and learner outcomes. In 2022, we engaged over 300 voices in determined the top five attributes that we value in an MUSD graduate. These voices included administrators, certified staff, classified staff, parents, students, and community members.
