- A student aged 18 or older
- An authorized representative of a public agency or institution
Proof of identity is required for all requests.
How Long Does it Take?
Records will be provided within 10 business days of receiving your completed request, in compliance with ARS 15-828 and applicable federal laws.
How Long Are Records Kept?
- General education records are maintained per the Arizona State Library, Archives & Public Records retention schedule.
- Special education records are maintained for a minimum of 7 years after a student exits special education services or graduates, whichever occurs first.
Important Notes
- The District does not keep copies of diplomas. We can provide transcripts showing proof of graduation.
- Some records may be archived in older formats and may take longer to retrieve.
